Hi, I’m Dalton Toelkes – the owner of Quality Handyman & Home Repair, and reducing stress for busy homeowners by helping them with repairs and maintenance at their home is what I do.

My Story

Before starting this business, I worked as an engineer for one of the largest construction companies in the United States. I actually have a degree in Industrial Engineering from Kansas State.

At some point while sitting at my 9-5 desk job, I realized I wasn’t fully satisfied.

Sure, I was good at what I did, and I made good money, but there was just something missing.

So, I decided to leave my cubicle behind and go out on my own to start a handyman business. I know that’s an odd choice, but here’s the deal…

I love working with my hands and helping people.

Growing up, my dad was always Mr. Fix It and it seemed there was nothing he couldn’t do. I took on this same attitude and have always done repairs and projects myself from a young age.

The experience I gained as an engineer has given me a unique skill set that allows me to repair just about anything.

From all of this, I’ve found that a handyman business is the perfect fit! I feel genuinely lucky to enjoy the work that I do day to day.
